Product Catalogue Data Administrator (Furniture)

We have an exciting opportunity for a The Furniture Catalogue Administrator to join our IT Team here at Harrods. You will be providing vital administrative support and ensuring efficient and accurate vendor data is available for the in-store ordering system.

About the Role

The Furniture Catalogue Administrator will obtain and manage own bought brand price changes, maintaining prices and updating the system accordingly across the department. The role will also see you collaborate with suppliers, current and new, to ensure data is sent in correct format with advance notice for any updates.

You will also:

  • Create master data for new brands on the system and remove brands that have exited.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding the improvement of the Furniture in-store ordering tool.
  • Liaise with IT departments to ensure Furniture Data processes are in line with the business.
  • Act as the point of contact for all new data requirements, and be responsible for facilitating department changes.
  • Train all new starters on the Furniture in-store ordering tool, as well as how to load furniture master data into SAP.

About You

The ideal candidate will have excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task. It is important in this role that you have excellent attention to detail which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and master data.

You will also have the following:

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills in terms of understanding data, term calculations and margins.
  • Confidence in using Excel.
  • Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
