This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Our cutting-edge technology includes Lithium batteries, Fault Managed Power Systems, and Extended Run Time battery backup systems that improve the reliability and resiliency of broadband networks.

This job role is to manage a team of Product Assurance Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors who provide all product assurance requirements for space projects throughout the project lifecycle (design, manufacture, test, and delivery). Additionally, this role manages the business Configuration and Document Management (CADM) team. In all cases, meeting project timescales and delivery requirements is a key objective.
Ensure the safety of all employees, visitors, and company assets.
Oversee health and welfare within the department.
Ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
Prevent, investigate, and resolve non-conformances.
Deliver specialist PA documentation (PM&P, EEE, RAMS, Safety).
Ensure product safety certification and compliance.
Oversee documented compliance with customer specifications.
Manage internal readiness reviews (MRR, TRR).
Supervise in-build and in-test inspections and approvals.
Define and track product baselines and changes.
Ensure timely project delivery and adherence to schedules.
Allocate tasks and manage team workload.
Oversee business risk management within the department.
Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Implement continuous improvements and new methodologies.
Manage all departmental Quality Control (QC) documentation.
Ensure compliance with Business Management System (BMS) standards.
Control non-conformances and implement Lessons Learned processes.
Manage staffing levels, training, and career development.
Oversee employee performance and line management activities.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of departmental equipment and facilities.
Deliver weekly business updates to the Technical Solutions Manager.
Ensure clear and timely communication within the department and business.
Manage external communications, including customer interactions on PA matters.
Facilitate customer reviews and Non-Conformance Review Boards.
