PRODUCER/DIRECTOR (SELF-SHOOTER) – 90' FEATURE LENGTH FILM FOR BROADCASTER, STREAMER & THEATRICAL RELEASE

We are seeking an exceptional self-shooting Producer/Director with proven experience in quick turnaround 90' feature length filmmaking to join a dynamic and visionary production team. This is a rare opportunity for a highly skilled, self-motivated creative leader to take the helm on powerful, original film projects intended for broadcast and theatrical release.

About the Role

You will lead the end-to-end production of a bold new 90' quick turnaround feature film, overseeing creative direction, editorial storytelling, self-shooting, and managing a compact but high-performing crew. This is not a role for the faint-hearted. It demands finesse, a sharp editorial instinct, and the ability to operate quickly, independently while delivering at the highest cinematic standard.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Direct and produce a high-end 90' feature length film from development through to post-production and delivery
  2. Self-shoot to broadcast and theatrical quality
  3. Shape and lead the editorial vision with clarity, confidence and originality
  4. Manage and inspire a small, focused crew on location and in post-production
  5. Work closely with Executive Producers and stakeholders to deliver to brief and budget
  6. Maintain high standards of creative integrity, storytelling and visual style
  7. Drive delivery to festival, distributor and theatrical specifications
Essential Requirements
  1. At least 5+ years’ experience producing and directing 90' feature length films for broadcaster, streamer and or theatrical release
  2. Strong track record of theatrical releases at least 1 credit ideally 2 or official selections at major festivals (e.g. Sundance, Berlinale, BFI, Tribeca)
  3. Highly proficient self-shooter, with strong camera, framing and lighting skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead a small, nimble team under pressure
  5. Strong editorial instincts and understanding of narrative structure
  6. Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
  7. Well-versed in production schedules, risk management, and working to fixed tight budgets
  8. A genuine passion for bold, boundary-pushing cinema with substance
  9. Based in London or within M25 – able to work on site and attend in-person meetings/interviews
Desirable
  1. Experience with social or cultural narratives
  2. Experience with post-production, workflows and supervising edits
  3. Prior experience handling rights, clearances and international deliverables

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You shoot to an exceptionally high standard and are confident working independently in fast-moving, real-world environments. You have led productions from development to post, and your work has screened in cinemas or at prestigious international festivals.
