Producer

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a ‘get sh*t done’ Producer to join our independent game team. You will be working on WARDOGS, our player-driven FPS sandbox! We champion giving devs the autonomy and accountability to deliver their work; your job is to steer the team towards game build deadlines!

In this role as a Producer, you’ll be expected to track and maintain the production schedule, ensure the team is moving at a healthy pace, maintain the roadmap for your team, and coordinate with all Leads and Producers to ensure we deliver, above all else, a top-quality game.

This Producer role is more focused on Project Management than design; please keep this in mind when applying, but there’s nothing wrong with having an opinion and speaking your mind!

// RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Drive the development team by creating plans and roadmaps for the development.
2. Facilitate conversations between key people across different departments.
3. Understand the business goals of the game.
4. Ensure the team is on track for successfully hitting milestones.
5. Listen to the department leads and work with them to develop an 'AAA' quality game.

// REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. +2 Years experience of driving projects forward in any industry.
2. Experience with different Project Management styles and tools.
3. Interest in First Person Shooters such as Battlefield, Apex, and Warzone.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

// DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Experience in the games industry.
2. Experience in an indie game team.
