Procurement Sourcing Specialist - Pharmaceuticals - London - Competitive Salary

A leading global Pharmaceutical firm is seeking a skilled Sourcing Specialist to join their dynamic procurement team. As Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing procurement processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the highest quality of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
  2. Cost Optimisation: Identify and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. Regularly analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement.
  3. Strategic Sourcing: Conduct comprehensive procurement market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with company objectives.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to understand sourcing needs and align strategies with business goals.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a global environment.
  2. Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes within Direct Categories, preferably within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
  3. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships.
  4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
