As Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing procurement processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the highest quality of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Cost Optimisation: Identify and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. Regularly analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement.
- Strategic Sourcing: Conduct comprehensive procurement market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with company objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to understand sourcing needs and align strategies with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a global environment.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes within Direct Categories, preferably within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
