As a Lidl Procurement Services Consultant, you'll be responsible for tendering and appointing suppliers for a wide range of procurement topics. From market research to negotiation, you will be joining a dynamic environment, successfully running multiple projects at the same time. You'll have the opportunity to work with a multitude of departments and therefore continuously improve your knowledge about the business and different exciting topics.

What you'll do:
- Engaging with different departments in the business analyzing and highlighting the needs of each department
- Onboarding new procurement categories
- Demonstrate innovative thinking and proactivity when looking at new services implementation or strategic solutions
- Managing the tender process from market research, to creating tender packs, completing scorecards and presenting final recommendations
- Conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, including negotiations, supplier and industry analysis, benchmarks, cost structure analysis ensuring process compliance
- Supplier negotiation and drafting contracts
- Contract management
- Stakeholder management
- Preparing summaries, overviews and project status documents for senior management
- Budget tracking and control
- Managing and maintaining supplier relationships
What you'll need:
- Solid experience in a procurement role
- CIPS Level 4 qualified is essential or equivalent
- Experience working with suppliers, contract management, and tendering
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Effective negotiator and confident presenter (able to present and propose projects/ideas to Board level employees)
- Ability to prioritize projects and communicate effectively accordingly
- The ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently within tight deadlines
- Ability to deal with a large amount of data (numeric and/or literal) and extract key information
- Strong knowledge of Excel
