Are you a Procurement Officer or similar with a background in the Construction industry looking for a varied role within a friendly office environment for a well-established Construction company who pride themselves on long-term staff retention and offer ongoing progression opportunities?

On offer is a role within a well-established Construction company who work projects for a broad range of residential and commercial clients. They have continually grown to the point they have a turnover of over and are now looking to grow their team across the board to keep up with the significant growth they are undergoing at present.

In this dynamic role you will work within the tight-knit purchasing team of 4 as you undertake varied responsibilities including procurement of materials, negotiating prices with suppliers, tracking orders and addressing late deliveries, and building new and existing relationships with clients. In addition to this, it will be your responsibility to liaise with the Senior Leadership Team as you work on a Monday - Friday basis.

This stable role would suit a Procurement Officer or similar from a Construction background looking for a varied and dynamic role within a well-established company who offer ongoing opportunities for training and development in a Monday - Friday role.

The Role:

1. Procurement and scheduling of products, materials, plant, and equipment
2. Negotiation of prices with suppliers
3. Maintain and monitor inventory levels
4. Tracking orders and addressing late deliveries
5. Build and further relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders
6. Monday - Friday, office based

The Person:

1. Procurement Officer or similar
2. Construction background
3. Commutable to Waltham Abbey
