We are partnering with an International Group seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee procurement and optimise supply chain operations, focusing on beef procurement across the UK.

This role is integral to ensuring efficient and sustainable sourcing of beef within one of the world’s most extensive supply chains.

In this position, you will be accountable for driving procurement strategies tailored to customer forecasts.

Negotiating supplier contracts to secure reliable and cost-effective solutions will be key, alongside working with stakeholders to maintain seamless operations, strengthen supplier relationships and address operational complexities and opportunities.

Your expertise in evaluating global beef markets and pricing trends will play a critical role in shaping procurement strategies. Identifying supply chain risks and implementing contingency plans to ensure continuity will also be essential. Working closely with quality assurance teams, you will resolve claims effectively and advance sustainability goals by aligning supply chain practices with industry-leading standards.

This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who can navigate the intricacies of a dynamic market. You will act as a reliable partner to both suppliers and stakeholders, facilitating discussions on procurement planning, pricing strategies, and sustainability initiatives.

A solid grasp of the European beef supply chain is essential. Strong negotiation skills, a problem-solving mindset, and practical experience in the foodservice, farming, or processing sectors will be highly valued. Effective organisational skills and a dedication to sustainable supply chain practices are equally important.
