The Procurement Manager will provide vital support across all departments, overseeing the procurement function to ensure best value, service, and performance from suppliers. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring process compliance, and driving cost efficiencies across the business. The Procurement Manager will lead the procurement team and collaborate with other departments to support innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships and contracts.
  • Lead negotiations to secure best pricing, terms, and services.
  • Forecast demand and align stock levels with customer requirements.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies and drive supplier performance improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and procedures.
  • Lead, develop, and support the procurement team.
  • Work with sustainability teams to align the supply chain with environmental objectives.
  • Deliver measurable cost savings through strategic procurement.
  • Monitor and challenge supplier price increases and carriage charges.
  • Support the sales team with tenders and bespoke customer pricing.
  • Reduce non-essential credit card expenditure through planned purchasing.
  • Ensure commercial and contractual compliance in line with corporate governance.

  • Timely resolution of overdue purchase orders and direct-to-customer sales.
