Procurement Manager

Circa GBP70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Aberdeenshire

Hybrid - Must live commutable to the site

Responsibilities:
  • Management of stock purchased.
  • Direct liaising with suppliers.
  • Travel to suppliers.
  • Ensure quality & service are upheld.
  • End to End Sourcing of livestock.
  • Closely working with wider supply chain function.
  • Upkeep of OTIF.
  • Supplier reviews.
  • Involved in Welfare & Sustainability policies.
  • Work to regulatory, ethical & environmental standards and company and customer requirements.
  • Market trends and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to ensure contracts are aligned with regulatory standards, company policies, and customer requirements.
  • Source, onboard and maintain suppliers that meet quality, sustainability, and compliance requirements.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives when possible.
  • Identify and assess potential risks within supply chain.
  • Maintain a risk management structure to ensure continuity of supply.
Requirements:
  • Livestock - Trading/Procurement/Buying/Purchasing/Commercial experience with the food industry.
