We are seeking a dedicated Procurement or Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement & Supply Chain department. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing procurement strategies, managing suppliers, and driving cost savings.

Description

As a Sourcing Manager, you will lead multi-million-pound procurement projects with medium-cost and business risk profiles. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver maximum commercial and contractual value, managing the full sourcing lifecycle from strategy to contract signature.   1. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans
  2. Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts
  3. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  4. Oversee procurement processes and systems
  5. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
  6. Collaborate with other departments to determine procurement needs
  7. Monitor market trends and perform risk management
  8. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance

Profile

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  1. A Procurement Professional from a public sector, not for profit or utilities based organisation.
  2. Strong track record of delivering sourcing savings and driving value from complex procurement projects.
  3. Knowledge in contract law, financial management, and dispute resolution.
  4. Previously managed procurement under PCR2015 or equivalent public procurement regulations such as UCR.
  5. Ability to influence at an executive level with a politically savvy approach.
  6. Agile, problem-solving mindset with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Job Offer

An estimated salary range of £54,000 - £66,000 per annum
