Job Description
As the Procurement Manager you will,
Review current procurement processes, systems, and the supply base, and drive key development projects across all these areas
Oversee supplier relationship management/performance and analyze this against future capacities and product requirements
Assess current sourcing activities and the risks involved
Support the team to increase capability and engagement
Work with Supply Chain, Sales, and Manufacturing to ensure the Procurement strategy aligns with key objectives
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Procurement Manager profile should be:
Comfortable with driving change across systems, processes, and people, maintaining engagement throughout
Able to balance a hands-on and strategic approach, and be comfortable in both areas
Able to operate autonomously, driving the function
Used to working in a long lead-time environment, managing suppliers (Far East) to ensure OTIF is maintained
An ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
