Job description

As Procurement Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our procurement strategy - delivering high-quality, value-driven solutions across a broad range of indirect spend categories, with a particular focus on marketing services. You’ll work with teams across the business - at all levels - collaborating with stakeholders from legal, finance, people, and operations to embed smart, effective procurement practices that align with our purpose and values. You’ll also play a key role in educating our people on procurement, championing best practices, and making sure our procurement policy is understood and embraced.

• Lead procurement projects across indirect spend categories, with a focus on marketing services - managing sourcing, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
• Support contract drafting, review, negotiation, and management.
• Elevate the Procurement Team’s profile and drive alignment across Virgin Group by embedding policies, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to manage supplier and partner risks.
• Build and maintain key supplier relationships to maximise value for Virgin Group.
• Identify opportunities to optimise the supply chain and drive cost efficiencies.
• Enhance procurement policies, tools, and knowledge-sharing to improve consistency and efficiency.

What you’ll need

• Experience in a similar role, procuring corporate and marketing products and services.
• Skilled in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts.
• Commercially savvy, always thinking a step ahead.
• Skilled in relationship building, trusted by colleagues and suppliers alike.
• Confident influencing and challenging stakeholders when it counts.
• Super organised, thriving in complex business environments.
• A strong communicator with sharp negotiation and commercial skills.
• Ideally CIPS qualified—or keen to pursue it to enhance your procurement expertise.

The extra details

Role type: Contract (12 months)
Location: London hub (approx. once per week) & your home space
Salary: £57,500 - £67,000 plus bonus - We're putting our salaries out there for everyone to see - no smoke and mirrors, just honest numbers. We'll offer a salary that matches your skills, always aiming for room to grow.
