Procurement Manager

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team in Central London.

The main objective is to support the delivery of pre-construction procurement strategies for a major rail framework. You will be:

1. Setting procurement strategies and managing scopes of work for pre-construction materials and subcontracts.
2. Leading a small procurement team.
3. Part of the pre-construction development team, supporting operational teams with mobilising new supply chains.
4. Ensuring operational teams are provided with appropriate well-qualified supply chains.
5. Analysing strategic procurement data, adding relevant findings into future procurement strategies.

Further Details

You will be working with pre-construction teams to create procurement strategies for a variety of Network Rail projects across the south of England.

Projects can range from £500k to £30m+ across overhead lines, track works, civils, embankments, stations, and depots.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for candidates with 5+ years of subcontract procurement experience for a main contractor.

You will currently be working within the infrastructure sector, but our client is also open to candidates from building sectors.

Must have a strong personality to manage challenging stakeholders.
