Procurement Manager

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: 45,000 to 50,000

An opportunity has opened for a Procurement Manager to join an engineering company based in High Wycombe. The ideal candidate will have an excellent background working in Supply Chain and Procurement and will have leadership / managerial skills to develop and improve the company.

The company are offering 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and private medical care as well as other benefits.

Procurement Manager Key Skills:

  • Experience as a Procurement Manager, Leader or similar within the Engineering industry
  • Excellent experience of processes, planning and continuous improvement
  • Excellent purchasing and supply chain experience
  • SAP MRP experience
  • Managerial and leadership skills to ensure budgets and timelines are met
  • ISO standards experience
  • Forecasting, documentation and report writing experience

Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

  • Taking lead in all procurement activities including planning, processes and forecasting
  • Driving continuous improvement in purchasing and supply chain
  • Updating SAP MRP systems
  • Ensure budgets are kept to and product delivery are all on time
  • Conduct negotiations and project planning
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure a swift process
