Procurement Manager

Cardiff/Reading (Hybrid)

Up to £650 pd.

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking an IT Procurement Manager to support them on an interim basis. This will be an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

In this standalone role, you would be the face of procurement to one arm of their business. It requires a highly skilled procurement professional, able to operate autonomously, build relationships across the Senior Leadership Team, and deliver on strategic sourcing across a range of categories, with a technology focus.

Key Experience:

  1. Extensive experience leading technology strategic sourcing
  2. Commercial and stakeholder management skills with a proven track record of building strong internal business relationships
  3. A proven track record of delivering Category Management within a demanding, fast-paced environment
  4. Leading and managing sourcing processes
  5. Developing and negotiating agreements
  6. Experience mitigating and managing risk throughout the procurement life cycle
