Your new role
The Procurement Contract Manager will support the organisation in their systems and materials procurement. They will drive cost reduction initiatives, document cost savings, and maintain supplier relationships while managing performance. The role involves resolving material supply issues, building strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring accurate Engineering Bills of Materials (BoMs), and monitoring stock levels to align with project scope. Additionally, the manager will delegate workload and support team development.

What you'll need to succeed
Essential Skills and Experience:

1. Experience in contract management with financial budgeting and forecasting
2. Team management skills
3. Strong stakeholder negotiation skills
4. Extensive procurement experience
5. MCIPS qualification or equivalent

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience in project management and control processes
2. Legal knowledge related to purchasing contracts
3. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel
