Currently recruiting for a Procurement & Contract Management Lead to join the Procurement & Contract Management team of a large, offshore wind farm developer in Poland.
Reporting into the EPCI Director you will have overall responsibility for project procurement and contract management activities and lead the procurement and contract management team during the construction phase of a major offshore wind farm project.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Procurement team, allocate work and monitor performance
  2. Defining and implementing procurement and contract management processes
  3. Represent procurement function in project finance and commercial matters
  4. Ensure procurement teams cooperation and communication with package management team
  5. Coordinate with legal team on resource and support requirements
  6. Ensuring Procurement Guidelines and Processes are followed by project team

Major Tasks
  1. Manage procurement and contract related interfaces and activities
  2. Continuous cooperation with other work streams, packages and other departments
  3. Monitor procurement and contract time schedules and timelines
  4. Support contract managers in supplier negotiations in procurement, contract management and claims resolution
  5. Facilitate cooperation/coordination between Package managers and Contract Managers
  6. Co-ordinate preparation of the contracts and agreements drafts
  7. Ensure good practice and compliance measures are adhered to throughout contract procurement and execution
  8. Support Contract Managers in contracts negotiation and initial escalation
  9. Ensure the use procurement process to drive most economically advantageous outcomes
  10. Ensuring processes are defined and utilised for conducting tender evaluation process with Package managers
  11. Ensuring processes are defined and utilised for conducting commercial evaluations
  12. Allocate responsibilities to Contract Managers
  13. Evaluate performance of Contract Managers and support them to achieve goals
  14. Monitor and report the project exposure to commodity market pricing changes
  15. Monitor and report the projects commitment and liabilities
  16. Report summary of package progress and status of claims
  17. Ensure use of Contract trackers to plan and monitor execution of contracts
  18. Work with legal team to support contract execution queries and disputes

Qualifications & Experience
  1. 10+ years’ experience in offshore wind industry in a procurement role
  2. Experience of a procurement land contract management lead role in a major offshore wind project
  3. Experience of negotiating and managing contract and disputes
