Job title:Procurement Business Partner Lead

Location:Samlesbury – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary:£54,793+ (Depending on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead a team which Project Manages the delivery of critical Procurement Items to Production and In Service customers
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders (including Programme Partners, both UK and International), across multi-disciplines, to ensure product / service requirements are captured and delivered
  • Represent Procurement at Senior Operations and Customer Reviews providing status updates on any high risk, backlog or critical deliveries against customer demand dates in order to support the platform
  • Challenging existing procurement delivery paradigms and processes by thinking outside the box and driving priorities against customer critical needs
  • Taking Project Management accountability for key elements of the Supply Chain Delivery to ensure early implementation and mitigation of key Programme risks for critical deliveries
  • Applying and sharing lessons learnt from pursuits with colleagues in order to enhance our approach and enable greater efficiency

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification and/or Qualified to Degree standard or equivalent
  • Procurement and manufacturing knowledge and experience, preferably in defence or aerospace
  • Proven Experience in Project Managing critical deliveries within short time constraints
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders across multi-disciplines, to ensure product / service requirements are captured and delivered
  • Extensive knowledge of sub-contract management
  • Evidence of Data Analytical Skills with a high level of proficiency in MS Office, in particular excel
  • An understanding of export controls application and regulations
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Team development: leading teams on project oversight and professional development
