Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Finance Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the procurement and finance functions, undertaking administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Support:
  • Administer the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management.
  • Finance Support:
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Provide finance and procurement administrative support
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
  • Handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally hold a qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or has demonstrable previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in procurement and/or finance administration
  • Ideally experience in imports / exports.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including face to face, Teams, email.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, positive attitude and has willingness and initiative to improve and introduce new processes / systems
