Process Technician - Bridgend

Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00

Friday 08:30 - 15:30

We’re proud to connect people to clean water—and we’re looking for a proactive Process Technician to support our engineering team in delivering timely and cost-effective process improvements that drive operational excellence.


What you’ll be doing:
  1. Support the Process Engineer with improvement projects and hands-on solutions.
  2. Carry out regular process measurements, including torque checks and time & motion studies.
  3. Develop, improve and maintain process equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
  4. Diagnose and troubleshoot routine process issues quickly and effectively.
  5. Liaise with departments and suppliers to drive business improvements.
  6. Conduct risk assessments and ensure best-practice health & safety procedures.
  7. Gather and analyse data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  8. Document routine manufacturing processes and support with technical reporting.
What we’re looking for:

Essential:
Time-served, ONC/HNC qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Previous experience in process engineering, ideally within a lean manufacturing environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Awareness of HSE and quality standards.
Strong organisational skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
Desirable:
Experience with 3D CAD (preferably Inventor).
PLC fault-finding skills.
Robotics, pneumatics, and automation experience.
Skilled in lathe and milling operations.
Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques and lean tools.
