Process Safety Engineer

Senior Process Engineer - up to £75,000 Plus Bonus - Runcorn site.

We are working with a leading global manufacturer of a wide range of chemicals that are used as raw materials in almost every industrial process. They are looking for an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join their Runcorn site.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with the UK regulators on major hazard issues (especially COMAH).
2. Be the key point of contact with the EA in ensuring they comply with the requirements of the Environmental Permitting Regulations.
3. Identify and drive process safety improvements on the site.

Experience:

1. Chartered Chemical Engineer.
2. A strong set of Process Safety Engineering skills.
3. Experience working on a COMAH site.
4. Strong Leadership skills and ability to coach.
5. EA and HSE links.
6. Several years experience in the Chemical industry.
