Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage machinery upgrades, modifications, and replacements.
• Oversee projects from start to finish, including cost-benefit analysis, design reviews, risk management, budgeting, and contractor management.
• Ensure equipment and processes meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Help maintenance teams install and troubleshoot machinery to reduce downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis to solve production problems and prevent future issues.
• Support manufacturing teams to boost productivity and product quality.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to introduce new products into manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and DraftSight.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of process optimization and lean manufacturing.
• Strong commitment to safety standards.
• Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion, including budgeting and risk management.
• Ability to build relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Hands-on problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC, and HMI programming.
• Welding technical experience.
• Familiarity with mechatronics systems.
