Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team! You will be overseeing our metal parts processing division to ensure on-time delivery to our fabrication division, without compromising on quality. The candidate will create or refine policies and procedures, collaborate with our mechanical engineering team, and design new strategies for future projects and procedures to create better overall processes. You will also assist in training new manufacturing technicians, developing clear goals for the manufacturing team, and coordinating with external suppliers and the procurement team as needed for raw materials and other consumables. The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background and is familiar with Six Sigma/lean manufacturing practices, excellent communication skills, and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current manufacturing standards and suggest improvements as needed
  • Work closely with the engineering team, including training new employees, to maintain high standards and quality
  • Manage any design updates or developments
  • Set and achieve goals for the production team
  • Work closely with other departments including fabrication, procurement, and engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Manufacturing Engineering or comparable degree or experience
  • Strong project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
