This exciting new role will be instrumental in improving the integration and development of MAF UK’s digital service as we look to be market leaders in the use of technology, including how we can best leverage AI across the organisation in line with our values.
MAF UK have recently started operating under a new Operational Framework, and we are looking for someone to support this new structure to deliver the step changes we strive for. You will support improving the integration and development of MAF UK’s digital services. This will include using the Power Platform, configuring Dynamics D365 and integration of third party web-services including our website. MAF UK now operates in a serverless capacity and the Process Efficiency Lead will enhance the IT Team’s knowledge across many platforms and will be proactive in looking for ways to improve the effectiveness of how these platforms are used across the organisation. Working alongside both technical and non-technical staff, you will be proactive in the promotion of enhancements and solutions relating to organisation wide services and will be adept at communicating to a variety of stakeholders in a jargon free, non-technical way. In addition you will live out the MAF Values and clearly demonstrate the organisational behaviours of being purposeful, innovative and community-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
TASKS COMMON TO ALL STAFF:
• Role modelling of organisational values and beliefs

• Attendance and participation in team and corporate times of biblical reflection and prayer
• Encouraging team members to attend, participate and lead in times of Biblical reflection at regular corporate prayer meetings
• Participate in planning in accordance with the MAF UK strategic plan and as outworked through matrix programme and project teams
• Keeping line manager informed of all relevant information in a timely manner
• Complying with statutory and organisational requirements for the proper handling of personal and sensitive data and ensuring good personal data handling practices are developed, reviewed, and encouraged
• Abiding by Safeguarding, Conduct and other MAF UK policies provided on the Intranet.
Location: This role will initially be based at the MAF UK Offices in Folkestone, Kent but could move to the Oxford, Cambridge arc as we seek to launch a new hub in the Milton Keynes area, maximising our engagement with a thriving local aerospace and charity sector region. At least two days a week in our Folkestone Office might be initially required. We welcome hybrid working in line with our flexible working policy, the needs of the business, the requirements of the role and your location. This will be discussed at interview.
Salary: Circa £30,500 per annum depending upon experience
Working Hours: At least 36 hours per week but in addition those required to achieve the agreed responsibilities, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break each day. Flexibility will be required for working additional hours and travel to meet business needs or for travel or meetings on weekends or evenings. This role involves some unsocial hours, weekend work and travel within the UK
Annual Leave: Annual leave entitlement of 22 days per year and 8 paid public holidays per year.
Pension Scheme: MAF UK provides a non-contributory pension scheme for staff of 10% salary on joining
