As a small but entrepreneurial charity, we are looking for an experienced and pro-active individual who can actively contribute to the success and future financial and strategic development of TimeGivers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial oversight of the charity’s accounts and financial reporting
  2. Working alongside a bookkeeper to monitor income and outgoings, overseeing the charity’s accounts
  3. Producing monthly financial reports for the leadership team, highlighting key observations and flagging any risks or concerns
  4. Monitoring income and expenditure against budget, maintaining and adjusting forecasts as necessary
  5. Ensuring that TimeGivers complies with the Charity Commission’s financial regulations
  6. Support the board and leadership team to manage and mitigate financial risk
  7. Support the board and leadership team with strategic planning, helping to establish the charity’s annual budget, supporting the charity’s growth and long-term sustainability
  8. Working with the charity’s appointed accountants and the charity’s board of trustees to prepare the charity’s annual accounts and liaising with the accountants as required

Who We Are Looking For

  1. A seasoned financial services professional, ideally a qualified accountant, to support the board and leadership team
  2. An individual who is passionate about youth development, empowering children as agents of change in their own communities and building a lifelong commitment to service
  3. Enthusiasm and energy to play a pivotal role in shaping a new but fast-growing charity, building strong foundations for future growth
