I am working closely with this modern Legal 500 firm, who are hiring into their private wealth team.

They are looking for a knowledgeable Private Wealth Solicitor 3+ years PQE and are open to remote and flexible working on a permanent basis.

The Firm

This leading firm has exciting growth plans over the next few years. Their current turnover is £18 million, with projected growth to £20 million next year. They are forecasting 20% growth year on year and are well placed to continue exceeding this.

They currently house 130 staff, of which 90 are Solicitors and Partners. As a firm they like to grow organically and promote from within and there are multiple examples and success stories, including an individual who joined the firm as a trainee and is now a director over the course of 5 years.

They are a multi-service practice, with excellent collaboration across all the departments. They punch well above their weight and their main competitors are impressively some Top 50 firms.

The firm has attracted many Lawyers out of larger ‘city’ practices, who have been looking for a more collegiate, friendly culture without sacrificing on quality of work and clients. You will also find there is much more in the way of staff flexibility and work-life balance, with support for remote working on a permanent basis.

The Role

This is an exciting role for a Private Wealth Solicitor 3+ years PQE, to join this growing department, which deals with a high quality of work.

This role will focus on working with HNW and UHNW clients, advising on their tax affairs and structuring assets to mitigate income tax, CGT and IHT.

You will be assisting 2 Directors in relation to tax and planning matters for both UK and non-UK resident domiciled. The work will include advising on FICS and FLLPs and offshore structures, whilst dealing with HRMC. There will also be estate planning and trust work, including cross jurisdictional matters.

Requirements:

• You will be a Private Wealth Solicitor 3+ years PQE.
• You will have good tax and estate planning experience.
• You will have experience working with HNW/UHNW clients.
• You will have experience drafting FICS, offshore structures, HMRC, estate planning.
