Today, with a significant ambition to build on the successes, A&M is looking to continue the growth of our Private Capital tax business. This is an exciting and possibly unique opportunity for a highly ambitious personal tax specialist to join our Private Capital practice. Led by a team of partners and senior practitioners, our practice supports a broad range of ultra high net worth individuals, family offices and trusts and help them navigate the complexity of UK tax legislation. Our approach and our culture are open, collaborative and meritocratic.

To be successful you will need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic and inquisitive with experience of dealing with international private clients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in enabling our business to continue growing and will be able to develop your career by supporting the leadership of our team.

As an Assistant Director you will:

  1. Manage clients to understand critical areas of importance and apply technical knowledge to specific client situations.
  2. Create high quality deliverables that are concise, complete and address the elements deemed important by the client.
  3. Clearly communicate work plans, project objectives, and timelines to multidisciplinary project teams.
  4. Build relationships with senior client contacts and demonstrate a working knowledge of client businesses; with opportunity to assume additional responsibility quickly.
  5. Provide leadership, develop, mentor, and motivate our team members by actively participating in their advancement through on-the-job training, providing performance feedback, counseling, and fostering our team-based atmosphere.
  6. Manage multiple projects, client engagements and budgets simultaneously and efficiently.
  7. Assist with business development, including add-on work by creating bespoke and innovative business development resources and actively participating in proposal opportunities.
  8. Promote an environment of continuous learning, enabling the team to participate in opportunities to engage in training and assignments.
