The role

Our Private Client team is growing its local team in the North East. You will be responsible for assisting the local Partner team to grow and expand our Private Client advisory offering in the region - both advising existing clients and developing new relationships.

The candidate will deliver advisory work and be involved in growing our business and developing our team. The role will involve CGT, IHT, trusts, residence, succession and shareholder planning. The candidate should have experience in private client tax advisory work.

Skills

• Personal Taxation advisory experience
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Client-facing experience is desirable
• Ability to manage and deliver tax planning advisory work
• Excellent organisational ability
• A strong attention to detail
• Strong tax technical skills
• Self-motivated team player

Experience

• CTA, ICAEW, ICAS or STEP qualified
• Minimum of 3 years working in tax
