An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) to join a highly regarded and well-established Private Client team in Whitstable, Kent. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of private client matters, providing high-quality legal services to a loyal and expanding client base.

The Role

As part of this growing team, you will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including:

• Drafting wills, deeds, and legal documents
• Advising on estate planning and inheritance tax strategies
• Managing estate administration for both lay executors and the firm as a professional executor
• Providing advice on trusts, including their use and administration
• Preparing and registering powers of attorney
• Offering guidance on general private client matters

You will have the autonomy to build and develop your caseload while benefiting from a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with experience in private client law.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload of private client matters, as outlined above.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
