Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for a clear route to partnership? Our client, a well-established and growing legal practice, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team in Stockport or Macclesfield. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse caseload of wills, probate, estate planning, and administration matters, working closely with a supportive and ambitious team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, draft and review documents, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing a varied caseload of wills, probate, estate planning, and administration.
2. Providing expert legal advice on wills, probate, and lasting powers of attorney.
3. Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to wills, trusts, and estates.
4. Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and professionals to ensure smooth estate administration.
5. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Person Specification:

Essential:

1. Strong experience in private client work, including probate, estate administration, wills, and LPAs.
2. Excellent client management and communication skills.
3. Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
4. Solid knowledge of relevant laws and best practices.

Desirable:

1. STEP qualification or working towards it.
2. Experience in business development and networking.
3. Desire to progress to partnership level.
