Our client is a well-known Manchester firm that has undergone a substantial period of growth over the last few years and has won numerous awards. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be joining an award-winning team of over 40 individuals.

Job Description

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will provide legal advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and entrepreneurs, landowners and landlords, corporate trustees and fiduciary service providers, and charities. The team encourages collaborative working and promotes a working environment that fosters discussion and support for solicitors who are typically entrusted with a significant degree of autonomy.

Duties will include:

• Ability to run caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision
• Advising on/drafting Wills, Probate and Estate Administration, and Inheritance Tax mitigation
• Advising on HNW/UHNW estate planning
• Familiarity with relevant tax legislation
• Knowledge of trusts establishment, taxation, and administration

Desirable:

• Experience dealing with the formation and taxation of family investment companies is preferred but not essential
• STEP qualification preferable, though not essential. Financial support available for candidates without STEP qualification to take the relevant examinations

The Successful Applicant

You will be a Private Client Solicitor of between 1-5 PQE. Please note that the level of experience identified in this advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying.
