Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist solicitors in handling a diverse range of private client matters, including wills, probate, and estate administration.
  2. Conduct legal research and prepare documentation in accordance with client needs and legal requirements.
  3. Liaise with clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and guidance throughout their cases.
  4. Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  5. Support the team in managing case loads efficiently and effectively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  6. Participate in client meetings, taking notes and following up on action points as necessary.
  7. Assist in the preparation of court documents and manage filings, ensuring all submissions are timely and accurate.
  8. Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive client services.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal in a private client setting.
  2. Strong understanding of private client law and relevant legal procedures.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  4. High level of attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
  6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  7. Relevant qualifications such as a Law degree or equivalent experience are preferred.
