Are you an experienced Legal Assistant with a strong background in Private Client matters?

Do you thrive in a dynamic and professional environment? If so, we have an excellent opportunity just outside of Birmingham City Centre for a Private Client Legal Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide full administrative support to our Private Client Solicitors to ensure efficient operation
  2. Prepare correspondence and documentation using our case management system
  3. Assist and communicate with clients both over the phone and in person
  4. Manage filing systems, including opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
  5. Handle mail and enclosures for dispatch
  6. Arrange scanning and photocopying of paperwork
  7. Carry out additional duties as required to support the team

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience and knowledge of working within a Private Client department
  2. Ability to use initiative, conduct searches, complete ID checks and handle file-related tasks without dictation
  3. High levels of speed and accuracy in work
  4. Strong telephone manner and confidence in dealing with clients both in person and over the phone
  5. Highly organised, methodical and adaptable approach to tasks
