The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private – Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning and Priority Life – offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice and trustee services. Our clients include individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profit organisations, and Indigenous communities throughout Australia.

As a Private Clients Administrator, you will be providing effective administration support to financial advisers. You will be accountable for providing a high level of service, maintaining accuracy of data and preparing communications within core systems, as well as general administration in order to support the delivery of strategy and a level of service that exceeds client expectations.

About the role

  1. Day to day administration support to financial advisers and associate advisers, including preparation of paperwork, mail outs, account maintenance and data integrity in core systems.
  2. Process payment requests, including bills/invoices and client directed payments.
  3. Promote and build client trust in Perpetual.
  4. Assist advisers and associate advisers in the review process by packaging reviews, obtaining and collating research reports, updating required compliance fields in core systems.
  5. Identify gaps in admin service processes and develop/address as required.
  6. Maintain communication channels to ensure client expectations/outcomes are achieved.
  7. Maintain knowledge of products/services by attending training and working with advisers and broader Client Operations teams.
  8. General administrative duties including but not limited to filing, mail distribution, photocopying, scanning documents, retrieval of original documents.

About you

  1. Proven experience (2+ years) in a Banking & Finance environment, preferably in client services or a similar role that would provide a suitable administrative and/or financial planning background.
  2. Broad knowledge of financial products, platforms, and services.
  3. Outstanding attention to detail and process driven with a high level of accuracy.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Initiative, proactivity & willingness to learn.
  6. Problem-solving skills & knowledge of when to escalate issues.
  7. Maintain compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
  8. Ability to meet deadlines & contribute to strategic objectives.
  9. Flexibility to work outside base core hours when required.
