In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings, supporting their rehabilitation.
The key focus of the service is resettlement and employment support. This includes helping clients develop skills, secure accommodation, and access the necessary support to move forward. You will provide 1:1 support and guidance, setting goals and milestones to help them progress.
We are recruiting for two peripatetic (floating) positions, where you will work across different sites in the local region, covering for staff absences (e.g., sickness or leave). You will step into prisons or probation trusts and continue casework with clients.
To apply, you must have experience supporting individuals within the criminal justice system, either in a prison or probation setting. Alternatively, experience working with vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance abuse, or homelessness is also valuable.
Criminology graduates with relevant voluntary or paid experience (e.g., supporting clients facing similar challenges) are also encouraged to apply.
