Dream Medical are looking for a Primary Care nurse to work within a large category C training/resettlement prison which can currently house up to 1,605 prisoners and may increase in size by a further 500. You'll be joining a friendly, vibrant team who are committed to delivering the highest possible standard of care.

As a Primary Care Nurse, you can expect to be involved in everything from clinical triage to the evaluation and development of patient care and standards. You'll carry out – and potentially develop – nurse-led clinics, reviewing patient histories, undertaking relevant examinations and tests, organising any necessary treatment and referring patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to. Across everything you do, you'll maintain accurate records and provide the kind of helpful, empathetic support that will make every patient feel at ease.

We'll utilise the wellbeing model to put patient care and safety at the heart of everything we do through assessing prisoners across 5 domains of; physical and mental wellbeing, substance misuse, relationships and resettlement.
