Print Services SME - SC Cleared

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Print Services SME - SC Cleared on a remote basis for a 2 month contract.

*** MUST HOLD ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE ***

Role Description:

The Print Services SME is responsible for the designs, implementation and support of an on-premises solution.

You will be responsible for deploying and configuring print servers, managing print queues and ensuring connectivity to network printers. Implement Integration between various locations and workstations for a print service. Collaborating with the infrastructure, architecture and client team.

Key Skills:

1. Strong understanding of print technologies including Microsoft Print Server and Print protocols (TCP/IP, LDP)
2. Experience with installing, configuring and managing print queues and drivers in an on-premises environment.
3. Knowledge of network printing concept, including print spooling, driver management and user authentication.
4. Ability to troubleshoot common printing, conflict and print security best practices including access controls and data encryption.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with on-premises-based print solutions.
2. Knowledge of printer types and their functionalities.
3. Ability to work with vendors and support for printer troubleshooting and support.
