Principal Town Planner
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)
Hybrid working - 3 days in the office

Are you an experienced Town Planner looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of 18 planners at one of the UK's leading consultancies, based in Bristol.

Due to a significant increase in workload, Carrington West are pleased to be partners with this consultancy in a search for skilled individuals to be part of a thriving team. We are looking for Town Planners up to the Principal Town Planner level.

The Role

You'll work on a diverse range of projects spanning:

1. DCO applications
2. Residential developments
3. Mixed-use schemes
4. Retail projects
5. Energy projects

This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact on both local and national projects. You'll collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines, contributing to innovative planning solutions and delivering exceptional results for clients.

What We're Looking For

1. Degree OR Masters in Town Planning or Geography
2. Minimum of two years experience in Town Planning
3. Private sector planners with experience in consultancy or developer environments
4. Local Planning Authority (LPA) planners with transferable skills and a proactive approach
5. Strong planning expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
