Principal Test Engineer - Manchester - £75,000 + bonus

The Company:
Lorien Global are working in partnership with a business based in Manchester City Centre. With domestic new product development and expansion into emerging markets, they're growing rapidly. This combination of additional workflow is driving the need for a Principal Test Engineer.

The Role:
As a Principal Test Engineer, your responsibility will span engineering, technical leadership, and strategic input. Working closely with the Engineering Leadership Team, you'll be the go-to, advising across teams within the department on QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is a genuine opportunity for you to impact the QA architecture, design, and best practices across the platform. We are looking for individuals who can enhance the current engineering community.

The Skill Requirements:
Candidates must have a blend of the following:

• Extensive knowledge across various testing methodologies and designing test cases (white-box, black-box, integration etc.)
• Excellent leadership qualities, including technical (architecture and strategy) and people (training, coaching, and mentoring)
• Knowledge of automation testing and proficiency with coding languages (Java, Python, JS), automation frameworks (Selenium & Cypress, etc.)
• Ability to collaborate across teams, utilizing clear and concise communication with varying levels of stakeholders
• Good knowledge of Agile development methods

The Benefits:

• Salary up to £75,000 (may be negotiable for the right person)
