  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost evaluations for stormwater infrastructure projects.

  • Ensure compliance with Australian stormwater management regulations, including state-based environmental protection agencies, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), and local council planning schemes.

  • Drive innovation by staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainability practices in Australian stormwater management.

  • Manage and optimise project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Provide technical support to business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex stormwater engineering challenges in real-world applications.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in stormwater engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within land development in Australia.

  • Proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing stormwater management plans for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in line with Australian standards.

  • Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, water-sensitive urban design (WSUD), and water quality treatment in the Australian context.

  • Experience with engineering software such as TUFLOW, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, DRAINS, XP-RAFTS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with Australian industry standards, including Australian Rainfall and Runoff (ARR), Water Quality Objectives (WQOs), and state-based stormwater management guidelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in land development stormwater management projects across Australia is highly desirable.
