Job purpose:
GSK urgently needs talented Clinical Statisticians to join our team and ensure high quality quantitative reasoning drives every project. Your role will be crucial in maximising the use of data, determining effective translational plans for end-to-end clinical development and applying innovative statistical methods. We need exceptionally talented and committed Statisticians to drive key contributions to the development of new medicines.
The Early Development Statistics (EDS) group is seeking a Principal Statistician to lead the full lifecycle of Phase 1 and PoC clinical trials, from design to reporting, and serve as the statistical representative for the study team within the larger organisation. This role covers activities from study setup to management and close-out, including drafting of study documents such as protocols and analysis plans. EDS supports all therapeutic areas in the Respiratory and Immunology Research Unit, including infectious diseases. Our team is dedicated to employing innovative clinical trial designs and statistical methodologies, with a particular focus on Bayesian techniques, to boost the probability of program success.
