Principal Safety Engineer

Initial 12 Month Contract

Hybrid - 1-2 days per month on site in Barrow-in-Furness

£87.83 Per Hour (Umbrella Rate - Inside IR35)

The Role

Derive and manage Product Safety requirements.
Develop, implement and maintain the Safety Management System.
Produce and manage Project Safety Management Plans.
Lead Product Safety hazard and risk identification, management and assessment activities.
Provide Product Safety engineering advice to the wider business.
Oversee the administration and management of the Project Hazard Log.
Influence the construction and delivery of the Project Safety Case including Safety Case reports.
Support the production of training material to support training delivery.

The Candidate

Experience with the following:

1. Safety Management System development and maintenance including Process updates.
2. Production of Safety Management Plans.
3. Hazard identification and management.
4. Risk assessment.
5. Product Safety case production.
