My Local Authority Client in Hampshire is looking to source a very experienced Town Planning Policy specialist to join their Planning Department for an initial 3 month period.

The Role:
You will be required to support preparation of the emerging Local Plan included, by not limited to:

1. Policy writing
2. Evidence commissioning
3. Strategic advice
4. Policy refinement and options selection
5. Preparing briefing notes/papers
6. Review of planning legislation/guidance and assessment of compliance
7. Undertaking monitoring duties

Remote working is offered predominantly, but the role may also require some attendance at the request of management.
Flexible working hours supported.
Laptop will be required.
