The post holder will provide a clinical pharmacy service to a group of wards under the supervision of a Clinical Pharmacist and will be primarily responsible for service provision to the virtual ward, both adults and paediatrics.
You must be registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician and hospital experience is desirable.
The post holder has responsibility to lead and develop all aspects of the virtual ward for pharmacy, working with the Lead Pharmacist Virtual Ward. The post holder will also directly line manage a Band 3 ATO virtual ward.
To ensure the safe and timely provision of all in-patient medicines reconciliation, inpatient and discharge medication supply and medication counselling services to wards as a senior member of the clinical pharmacy technician team.

The post will be based at the pharmacy department Darent Valley Hospital, and we are looking for a person who can provide enhanced management and coordination skills to drive forward our service.
Candidates must be enthusiastic, innovative, and able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. You must possess good IT skills.
