This award-winning, employee-owned design and planning consultancy has a strong reputation in the market, and they’re now hiring a Principal Landscape Architect to join their Manchester office – or from Cambridge, Peterborough, or Glasgow.

Your Role

• Lead and author LVIAs (including for NSIPs and EIA projects)
• Contribute to strategic masterplanning and design with strong contextual awareness
• Oversee landscape character, Green Belt, and designated landscape appraisals
• Mentor junior staff and manage projects across all stages
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams with planning, design, and environmental specialists

What You’ll Need

• CMLI Chartered Landscape Architect
• Strong consultancy experience and project delivery background
• Solid knowledge of GLVIA3, TGN on RVAAs, and relevant landscape planning policy
• Excellent writing, leadership, and communication skills
• GIS experience is a bonus
• Experience as expert witness (preferred but not essential)
