Job description

My client, a UK based Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join their Team in London.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Engineering and have achieved chartered status.

It is also essential for applicants to have experience working within a UK based Consultancy completing detailed Drainage and Road designs in respect of Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278 schemes using AutoCAD, Infodrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience mentoring team members and completing Flood Risk Assessments and designs for Commercial and Residential Developments.

Typical Responsibilities:

1. Highway, Drainage and Residential Infrastructure Projects for residential, commercial, retail, mixed use, high rise developments in Central London, hospitals and schools. Bespoke housing builds/extensions are also available.
2. Detailed Drainage and Highway designs in respect of S104, S106 and S278 Schemes for Residential, Commercial and Retail Outlets.
3. Detailed Drainage and Highways designs using AutoCAD and Infodrainage.
4. Sewer and SuDS designs.
5. Flood Risk Assessments.
6. Mentor Team Members and train staff.
7. Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Business Associates to discuss project progress.
