Future Opportunities:

The KBR IM team are looking to connect with Principal Information Managers. Working closely with multi-discipline Project Teams, clients and other stakeholders the Principal IM will oversee and perform a full range of activities associated with 3D CAD coordination, management and system administration including;

1. Manage system set-up, admin and database maintenance.
2. Ensure that deliverables can be produced from the model and that the content complies with the Company and client standards and conventions.
3. Co-ordinate with Engineering Systems to provide support for resolution of CAD application issues.
4. Develop and implement 3D CAD management plan incorporating project and contractual requirements.
5. Develop specifications, procedures work instructions and job notes. Support 3D model management processes and the development of the 3D Multi-discipline SMARTPLANT S3D model.

Responsibilities include the management of the SMARTPLANT S3D 3D model, global working, system administration, user support and clash management. Provide multi-discipline CAD coordination and user support.

Other roles and responsibilities include:

1. Accountable for the creation and implementation of CAD Management policies, plans, specifications, and procedures, management of model content and compliance.
2. Develop 3D model hierarchy and naming conventions.
3. Develop 3D CAD plan and procedures.
4. Development of detailed work instructions and job notes.
5. System administration, create project, hierarchy, backup and permissions.
6. Customisation, colour definition, name rules, symbols and interference check.
7. Specs and catalogue management e.g. bulk load.
8. Reporting, 3D model status, audit and MTO.
9. Drawing/isometric setup and configuration, view styles, label rules etc.
10. Communicate regularly with multi office CAD teams by use of regular coordination meetings, briefing sessions to share knowledge, best practices and lessons learned.
11. Incorporation of supplier 3D model for space reservation and clash detection.
12. Generation of project 3D visualisation images, using SPR and Navisworks.
13. Manage software problems and reporting to KBR Service desk.
14. Support introduction and upgrade of software/application versions.
15. 3D model progress measurement and coordinated 2D and 3D data flow.
16. Support 3D model object engineering and model status reporting.
17. Clash management and reporting.

What you will need:

1. 3D CAD management experience preferable in Oil & Gas Projects or large Engineering Project is required.
2. System setup, configuration, global workshare, administration, and user support.
3. Preparation of Catalogues and specifications.
4. Degree qualification or equivalent oil and gas industry experience.
5. Experience of 2D CAD system admin (advantage).
6. SMARTPLANT S3D global management and global working methodology.
7. PL expressions/programming (an advantage).
8. Deliverable/drawing setup, and configuration and production support.
9. Isometric production.
10. SMARTPLANT Review / Navisworks and model review coordination.
11. 3D model review SPR.
12. MTO data output.
