You will join a vibrant and successful engineering practice that is always looking for innovative ways to work. You will be joining their headquarters in London, but they have a global network so the opportunities are worldwide.


What You'll Do:

  1. Lead Project Delivery: Manage and deliver rail infrastructure designs, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.
  2. Innovate: Lead the design and delivery of complex rail infrastructure projects, creating solutions that balance technical precision with creative thinking.
  3. Collaborate: Partner with multi-disciplinary teams, including geotechnical, structural, and environmental specialists, to deliver fully integrated solutions.
  4. Mentor: Inspire and guide your team by fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
  5. Engage: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their objectives and deliver above expectations.
  6. Assure Quality: Oversee and approve design outputs, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.

What You Bring:

  1. Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's); Chartered Engineer (CEng or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years civil engineering design experience, focusing on rail infrastructure projects.
  3. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical considerations, and rail-specific design processes. Proficiency in software like Autodesk Robot, Idea Statika, or Tedds is a plus.
