Principal EICA Engineer

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Engineer to join our team and drive innovation in delivering essential infrastructure. Location & Hours: Brighton/Home Hybrid Working, with occasional site visits in the Southeast. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Package: Starting salary from £70,000, based on skills and experience, plus performance-related bonus. Job Overview: As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team focused on creating innovative and sustainable solutions for complex water and wastewater projects. Your role will involve developing outline designs for advanced, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible water recycling plants and other facilities. With a focus on innovation, you'll have the chance to evaluate and trial new technologies and products, shaping the future of the water industry.

About You:

Qualifications:

  1. MSc/MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with the IET or equivalent institution.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years' experience within a relevant industry.

Skills:

  1. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  2. Ability to drive innovation and manage complex engineering challenges.
  3. Full driving licence for site visits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead sustainable and environmentally friendly design projects.
  2. Provide expert guidance on design calculations and specifications.
  3. Challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
